This Privacy Policy describes how CodeRiver Information Technologies Limited ("Company", "we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the WordGallery mobile application ("Application", "Service").

By using WordGallery, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Interpretation & Definitions

1.1 Interpretation

Words with capital letters have meanings defined in this section. These definitions apply whether the terms appear in singular or plural.

1.2 Definitions

Application refers to WordGallery, the mobile game developed and published by CodeRiver Information Technologies Limited.

Company ("we", "us", "our") refers to CodeRiver Information Technologies Limited.

Device means any device capable of running the Application, such as a smartphone or tablet.

Personal Data refers to information that can identify an individual.

Service means the WordGallery mobile application.

Service Provider means third-party companies that provide services on behalf of the Company, including analytics, advertising, cloud services, and subscription management.

Usage Data means information automatically collected while using the Service.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Personal Data

WordGallery may collect Personal Data when you choose to create or use an account, contact support, or access optional online features.

Depending on the features you use, Personal Data may include:

An account is only required for features that rely on cloud services, such as synchronization, premium purchases, subscriptions, invitations, sharing, leaderboards, or customer support.

Core gameplay features remain available without creating an account.

Usage Data is collected automatically to improve the Service. This may include:

  • Operating system version

  • Firebase Installation ID
  • Device identifiers used by supported SDKs

  • Performance metrics

2.3 Device Permissions

The Application may request access to limited device features such as:

The Application does not request access to sensitive permissions such as contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or precise GPS location.

App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

On Apple devices, WordGallery may request permission to access the device's advertising identifier (IDFA) before personalized advertising is enabled.

Granting this permission is entirely optional.

If permission is denied, advertising will continue using non-personalized or contextual ads where supported.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data to:

  • Authenticate users
  • Synchronize player progress
  • Restore premium purchases
  • Process subscriptions
  • Improve gameplay experience
  • Analyze application usage

8. Advertising

WordGallery displays advertisements using third-party advertising providers.

On Apple devices, we request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before allowing advertising partners to use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA).

If permission is granted, advertising partners may use your advertising identifier to provide more relevant advertisements and measure advertising performance.

If permission is denied, personalized tracking is disabled. Non-personalized advertisements may still be displayed where supported.

9. Analytics

WordGallery uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to:

  • Understand how the application is used
  • Identify crashes
  • Improve stability
  • Improve performance
  • Prioritize future improvements

Analytics data is aggregated whenever reasonably possible.

Analytics information is never sold.

10. Purchases

Subscriptions and premium purchases are securely processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Subscription status is managed using RevenueCat.

RevenueCat uses your Firebase User ID (UID) as the App User ID to associate subscriptions with your account.

No payment card information is processed or stored by CodeRiver Information Technologies Limited.

12. Credits / Third-Party Content

Some artwork, metadata, and media references displayed within WordGallery are provided by third-party content providers under their respective licenses.

13. Children's Privacy

WordGallery is not intended for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children.

If you believe that a child has provided Personal Data, please contact us and we will promptly delete such information where required by applicable law.

The Application may contain links to third-party websites or services.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information.
